"Health is the greatest possession. Contentment is the greatest treasure. Confidence is the greatest friend. Non-being is the greatest joy". ~ Lao Tsu
Originally from the Channel Islands, Tamara was a teacher of English, Dance, and Drama for 21 years before deciding to do a complete U-turn and become an acupuncturist. This came about after a significant period of illness where she chose Traditional and Five Element Acupuncture over conventional drug therapy. Amazed by the results, and after pestering her own acupuncturist with far too many questions she was pointed in the direction of The College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. It was here that she studied Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Element Acupuncture, conventional medical sciences, and physiology and anatomy over a three and a half year period gaining her Permission to Practice, and 6 months later her full Licentiate in Acupuncture and Membership of the British Acupuncture Council.
Tamara has been in practice for twenty three years and runs a successful clinic at The Coach House in Malmesbury. As an acupuncturist Tamara has experience in treating a wide variety of health problems, but her particular areas of expertise are in the fields of IVF support and Fertility issues, Stress related disorders, and mental health problems.
